Because we at MBJ do not participate in the making of and we seem to have issues abiding by New Year resolutions. So, this year, we will be creating a list of our hopes for 2021.

I, Sash, hope to go on exchange to Korea this year. It will be a year-long exchange that was to happen in August 2020, but we all know how 2020 turned out so, here’s to 2021!

Not only do I want to visit Korea this new year, but I also want to read and review more books. Even though I am an English major, there is not a lot of time for reading for pleasure, and they’re just isn’t time to read and review books.

Both Carmen and I have had incidents with our mental health last year; this year, we hope to take better care of ourselves, starting with our Passion Planners.

Even though we’ve both sworn off making resolutions for this year, I did hope to close each circle on my apple watch activity ring. You know, burn enough calories to complete your move goal (mine is set at 200). Stand for one minute every 12 hours, and close my exercise ring, which involves 30 minutes of exercise a day.

Sounds like an easy resolution right? Wrong, I failed three days in. I didn’t factor in my course load for school and the role that plays with my mental health and I didn’t make any adjustments. I’m trying not to wallow in dejection, but it’s tough and one of the main reasons why I do not like making new year resolutions T_T

For me, Carmen, my main focus or hope this new year is to get a handle on my mental health. Covid and how it affected my year have had unfortunate repercussions on my mental health and well-being. All I want to accomplish this year is to be mentally well.

Additionally, one of our biggest hopes and New Years Resolutions is to continue working on and improving our blog. To bring great reviews and articles to you, our readers.

What are your New Year Resolutions or Hopes? Are you still on track?

Ooooh, those passion planners look fun! I love planners. Good luck with all your plans and especially with getting your mental health sorted. That’s very important.

    Happy TTT!
