REVIEW: Trust In Me

Reading Time: 2 minutes

TRUST IN MEIt’s Wait for You as you’ve never seen it. Trust in Me lets you in on Cam’s side of the #1 New York Times Bestselling story.

Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life – literally – he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam’s not ready to give up. He can’t get the feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.

Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. Will persistence (and some delicious homemade cookies) help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery’s life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever

Thoughts: Since I had such a great turn out yesterday for Wishlist Wednesday’s “Be With Me” and comments about the book, I thought I’d do this review now instead of later. I’m really glad that some people put “Be With Me” on their TBR lists or are now going to look for JLA books but I feel that it is my duty to compound the fact that if you haven’t put it on TBR list or looked up JLA, that you do that you do.

I’ve never had the urge to read the same book but from another’s (usually the guys) POV before, but Cam, his POV is smoking!
I really like being inside Cams head. Shortcake is the sexist nickname ever! I don’t why, but he makes it work. There’s just something about reading the same dialogue but through Cam’s eyes. Plus, its great insight into what he does when he’s not with Avery, and if I forget what Avery was doing at that point I just switch books for a peek.

Weirdly, that was all I had in my review notes about this book. I was too busy gushing and fangirling to write a proper review apparently.

I really like things from Cam’s side because I feel like it better prepares me for Be With You, which is about his sister and Jase. While “Stay With Me” (cover not out) rumors to be about Brittany and Ollie and that’s good because both “Wait For You” and “Trust In Me” will prepare you for their story.

Last Line: “Thank you for trusting in me.” <— I trust you CAM!
