Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon

What are some books that will make you swoon? Because I found some books that made me swoon. And, it wasn’t always the male character that had me fainting. 😏

WARNING: slightly dirty minded swoon-worthy descriptions down below.

1. Trust in Me by J.Lynn

Trust in Me (Wait for You #1.5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Cam is arrogant, charming, and hella persistent. He asked Avery for a date every day for 2 months. Harassment or endearing persistence? You decide.

2. Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan

Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan

Who wouldn’t want a self-taught, eight-pack, stonemason/gardener/woodcutter hot man with beautiful eyes with overlong silky tresses, who is a quick learner and dedicated to your pleasure?

3. On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

On Dublin Street (On Dublin Street #1) by Samantha Young

I tingled for a hunky, sexy 6’4 brown-haired, blue-eyed, assertive Scottish man.

4. Lover Mine by J.R. Ward

Lover Mine (Black Dagger Brotherhood #8) by J.R. Ward

Lover Mine is the 8th book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series introduces 6′-something John Matthew sexy vampire man.

John Matthew is sweet and attentive in all the ways that matter. He doesn’t need a deep voice to make the reader swoon. He is enough.

5. Naked in Death by J.D. Robb

Naked in Death (In Death #1) by J.D. Robb

I love the In Death series. And what better way to start the swoon-worthiness than from book #1 Naked In Death.

Not only is Lt. Eve Dallas sexy in her own right but so is Roarke, the slightly shady Irish billionaire who is under suspicion for murder. Roarke is 6’2 with an Irish lilt, with baby blue eyes and overlong hair pulled into a low pony.

And it isn’t just his looks that make him swoon-worthy. It’s the fact that he uses his wealth to help those that are underprivileged as he once grew up poor and uses his money not to suppress Eve but to make it a little easier for her. If that’s not worth swooning over, I don’t know what is.

6. Flirting with Danger by Suzanne Enoch

Flirting With Danger (Samantha Jellicoe #1) by Suzanne Enoch

I fell in love with the name Addison reading this book. But he’s not who I swoon over. Oh no, I swoon over Samantha Jellicoe. I swoon over the fact that a sexy woman is one of the world’s best and most successful cat burglars.

7. Passion by Lauren Kate

Passion (Fallen #3) by Lauren Kate

Most are team Daniel on this one but not me, I’m team Cam. Compared to Daniel Cam is the “bad” angel but you know what? I think “bad” depends on the context and in this context, I’ll take pull no punches honest Cam over Daniel any day.

Besides, who doesn’t like a “bad” angel?

8. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

Sweet gentle Sam. As much as the sexy men can reel you and make you swoon, a sweet man can also steal your heart. Sometimes nice guys don’t finish last.

9. Crash Series by Nicole Williams

The series follows the love and life of Jude and Lucy. Jude is from the “wrong side of the tracks,” and falls in love with Lucy. This bad boy comes out on top finding solace and a chance through football, not the golden boy football story and it works.

Jude is sweet and he treats Lucy like a queen all because he thinks he doesn’t deserve her. While the way he treats her is swoon-worthy, the reasons he has to do so are not. He’s amazing in his own right, he just didn’t get the middle-class upbringing Lucy had. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve her though and it shouldn’t be the only reason he treats her like a queen.

10. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

Now, I know this was a pretty sad book but seriously some of the words that came out of Augustus’s mouth made melt:

“I’m in love with you, and I’m not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things.”

That’s it for Top Ten books that make me swoon. I had fun with this list. There are so many different aspects of people that are swoon-worthy.

So tell me, what are some books that will make you swoon?

Happy Reading!

I feel like we’re reading sisters too! I recognize most of the authors on your list and J.R. Ward almost made it onto mine except I already had 10 by the end. πŸ˜€

I haven’t read TFIOS yet but it’s been on my TBR for so long. I think I’ll need to get started on that soon. Also, “Shiver” sounds really interesting. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. My TBR list is getting longer and longer…
