It’s all about, what we are: Currently Reading, Just Finished Reading and Reading Next
Penelope Douglas and Portia Moore are the authors that will be featured for this week’s WWW Wednesday. They are both wonderful authors with interesting and engaging writing styles whose books I’ve enjoyed in the past.
Currently Reading
Misconduct centers around Easton Bradbury and Tyler Marek. Easton is a 23-year-old, high school teacher; very driven and fiercely independent.
Tyler is older (35), running for State Senator and as driven as Easton.
So far, Douglas does a wonderful job of bringing the city of New Orleans and the characters alive for the reader.
Recently Finished Reading
Beautifully Broken is the third and final book in the series with two standalone novels continuing the storyline but showcasing the other characters.
Portia Moore’s If I Break series started out rocky for me but I am pleased with the author and the series development since then. Definitely worth a read.
Reading Next
I had put What Happens After on hold to read Penelope Douglas’ Misconduct so I’m picking it back up again to read next.
It’s supposed to be a standalone side book to the If I Break series but I’m not sure that’s what is delivered. We shall see.
