Where is the monkey hiding its eyes emoji??? I still haven’t finished Anne Jolin’s book Chasing Rhodes in time for this week’s WWW Wednesday. I don’t know what it is but it’s just not clicking for me. I do have a few books in rotation that I am excited for though, so there’s that.
Currently Reading
Abby Reynolds is a new author for me and I am enjoying Unbreakable so far. The characters are fleshed out and the plot seems to be developing nicely.
Recently Finished Reading
It has been a pretty busy week for me but I did manage to finish Kat T. Masen’s Romie Wars.
Reading Next
The pain is real! I really need to bite the bullet and finish this book. It’s dry, the character interactions are a bit ridiculous and not natural at all. The plot progression is too fast to be believable in my opinion.
This is supposed to be my year of no DNF (did not finish) books, but I’m not sure if I’ll be successful with Chasing Rhodes.
I would love to hear how y’all get back to reading a book you’re not fully interested in. I need advice ? ?
