WE ARE SO excited this WWW Wednesday to talk to you all about what we’re currently reading! So without further ado, let’s get into this week’s WWW Wednesday:
Currently Reading
Trolling through the free section of Apple books I stumbled upon this book and I’m lovin’ it. To Seduce a Witch’s Heart is a supernatural romance with some great characters. Rhun is a hot, anal-retentive, slightly geeky demon recently released from prison by Merle. Merle is a witch with a big problem, her sister is missing and the only one who can help, get her back is Rhun. I should probably mention that demons and witches are mortal enemies.
What results are hilarious forced proximity, enemies to lovers romance with some truly fantastic banter?
Finished Reading
The Turn of the Screw is a ghost story that we both had to read for a class.
I can say that I didn’t really enjoy this book, the way it was written was super confusing and it took me a while to get through it. I was falling asleep but not because I was tired.
Reading Next
For pleasure, I’ll be reading The Honey Don’t List by Christina Lauren. This writing duo has produced some of my favourite romances; taking common tropes and exploring them in unique ways. So I’m super excited to finally read their newest book, which I’ve been waiting to get access to my local library’s app for two months!
For class, I need to read The Double by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. From my understanding, this is a sort of thriller with elements of the fantastic.
I know, Dostoyevsky’s works are considered classics but I’m a little trepidatious as psychological thrillers (which I think this) is not generally my forte.
